Controversial Twitter influencer and celebrity critic, Daniel Regha recently condemned Ayra Starr‘s song “Sability,” while also asserting that both Ayra Starr and Tems are still up-and-coming artists.
Regha expressed these views during a podcast hosted by Big Brother Naija star, Doyin. In the interview, he categorized artists as either “up and coming” or “goated.”
Regha went on to claim that neither of the two female artists has produced songs with lasting power beyond 10 years. In his opinion, their work is easily forgotten when compared to established singers such as Tiwa Savage, Omawumi, Waje, and Nicki Minaj.
Regarding Tems, Regha emphasized that she is primarily recognized for her participation in high-profile international events. As for Ayra Starr, he dismissed her achievements, attributing them to her wardrobe choices and recycling of songs. In fact, he went so far as to describe “Sability” as the “most useless song” ever released.
Regha concluded by suggesting that for Ayra Starr to solidify her position as an established artist, she needs to explore diverse topics that can cater to different occasions.
