
People have been thrown into mourning after a popular herbalist died allegedly after intercourse with a pastor’s wife at a hotel located in Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State.
The late native doctor who goes by the name Fadayomi Kehinde, better known as Ejiogbe, reportedly lodged at a hotel with a woman said to be the wife of a shepherd of a white garment church in the same town on Monday, January 2, 2023.

Immediately after they had sexual connections, the herbalist was said to have slumped, spurring the lady to cry out for help from the hotel room.
It was reported that hotel staff and some friends of the herbalist rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Relatives of the late herbalist were alleged to have associated his death to “magun”, a local charm placed on married women by their husbands in order to harm lovers who sleep with them.

The grieving supporters of the deceased herbalist were said to have stormed the church where the husband of the lady is the shepherd and demolished the building in anger.
The married woman has reportedly been arrested and is being held in protective custody to facilitate investigation and also to safeguard her from the angry youths of the community.
The body of the deceased have been deposited in the mortuary of the Ekiti State Specialist Hospital in Ikere.
