“I was born normal but I suddenly stopped growing and it makes me unhappy” – 18-year-old actress, Obio Oluebube reveals

Obio Oluebube is a young and promising Nollywood actress who act mostly in Uche Nancy films. She was born on 12th August, 2004 in Okija, a small town in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state in the south eastern part of Nigeria.

She is presently 18 years old and will turn 19 in August 2023. She believed to be the adopted daughter of famous Nollywood film producer and costumier Uche Nancy. She is very beautiful, talented, gifted, intelligent in acting and translation of movie roles. She knows how to interpret her roles very well and can fit in any character given to her to play by movie producers and directors in the industry.

Obio Oluebube is from Okija, a small town in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state in the south eastern part of Nigeria and belongs to the Igbo tribe.

She finished both her primary and secondary school education in Anambra State. Obio Oluebebe has not yet been admitted to a Nigerian university. Although she has completed her primary and secondary school education. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Obio. Others thought she is the biological daughter to Nollywood film producer and costumier Uche Nancy because they are always seen together on social media. But in reality she is not related to Uche Nancy by blood, rather Uche Nancy sees her as her adopted daughter.

Obio Oluebube has been in a couple of Nollywood movies despite the fact that she is a novice in the industry. Obio Oluebube has co-starred with a number of prominent figures in the film industry, including Mercy Johnson, Chiwetalu Agu, Queen Nwokoye, Harry B, and Ngozi Ezeonu, among others. She has acted in movies like‘ Ezenwayi, Heart Of A Tiger, House Pleasure and many more.

Obio Oluebube isn’t married and doesn’t flaunt her boyfriend, fiance or relationship on social media. Meanwhile she is still young to have a boyfriend or to get married as she is just 18 years old. Interviewer: Is Nollywood A Good Place For You?

Oluebube: “Yes I think it a good place for me because Nollywood made people know me very well and it brought me out very well. It can make a person that doesn’t know who I am to know me.”

Interviewer: What Got You Interested In Becoming An Actress?

Oluebube: “When I am watching movies, I always feel as if I am them, I just feel like acting like them. The way I see actors acting, talking and behaving on screen makes me want to be like them.”

Interviewer: Are Your Parents Comfortable With The Fact That You Are An Actress?

Oluebube: Yes of course! They are comfortable. That is because I always tell them and they even agreed to support me.

Interviewer: Do you sometimes feel bad about the way you are?

Oluebube: Occasionally, but increasingly, I don’t feel awful because I have received advise from others, including our secondary school principal. She typically informs me that the teeth are utilized for laughter. Therefore, if nobody laughs at you, you are unimportant. So I no longer feel guilty.
