During a recent interview with Cool FM in Lagos, popular Nigerian singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, better known as Spyro, openly revealed his stance on doing a song with fellow artist Portable.
Spyro made it known that Portable is the only artist with whom he will never feature in his song.
He mentioned their different musical tastes as the major reason, indicating that Portable would be unable to produce a respectable performance if he wrote a song for him.
Do2tun, the show’s host, posed the question at the fast-rising singer,
“Who’s that artiste you can’t do music with?”
“Not because I have an issue with him but because our paths just don’t cross. Our kind of music don’t align. He won’t be able to deliver the kind of music I will write for him because it’s not his style,” he said.
When asked if he thinks that the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker is a good musician, Spyro stated, “I think Portable is good. It’s intentional when people do the type of music portable does.”
