Popular Nollywood actress, Kemi Afolabi has advised everyone on the internet not to underrate the influence of social media.
The actress confessed this while disclosing how she was able to regain the sum of N510, 000 which has been on hold for over three months.
The actor had earlier taken to Instagram to call on her fans to help her tag GTbank over her funds.
She had written, “Help tag @gtbank it’s been over 3 months that they held on to my N510,000. @gtbank kindly do the needful. I have been patient; I’m exhausted.”
Giving an update on the issues in a post shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Afolabi told how her clamor on the internet worked for her like magic as the bank refunded her hours later.
Expressing her gratitude to her fans for helping her to drag the bank, she wrote: “GTB Fraud Unit made sure the money I erroneously transferred to their customer is returned to my account. Thank you all for helping me tag GTB.
My dear! Never you underestimate the power of social media. Thank you all.”
