Popular Nigerian music duo, Paul Okoye and Peter Okoye better known as P-Square have boasted that they were the first musicians in Nigeria to start embarking on global tours.
PSquare boasted about being the pioneer of global tours in Nigeria. They stated that they were the first artists from Nigeria to start selling out stadiums.
The twin brothers made this claim in a recent episode of The 77 Podcast, where they discussed their music career and plans.
Furthermore, they confessed to being the first Nigerian artists to bag multimillion-dollar deals in the entertainment industry.
The group’s lead singer, Paul, said: “Don’t forget who dominated the industry for a long time. We held it down for nearly 13-14 years. We were there. Up there.
In fact, we started traveling around the world, doing the stadiums, doing everything. People fainting, people crying. Signing multimillion-dollar deals”.
