The Nigerian fashion entrepreneur and singer Davido’s Baby’s Mama “Sophia Momodu” has addressed the criticism surrounding her daughter Imade’s leaked chat, where she accused Davido of being an absentee father
Sophia Momodu, Imade’s mother, previously posted a screenshot of the WhatsApp message that Imade sent to her grandmother, highlighting Davido’s absence during crucial times.
The circulated message on social media sparked various reactions, with numerous users expressing strong opinions. A significant portion of the responses criticized Sophia Momodu, alleging that she manipulated her daughter to speak negatively about her father.
In a Twitter response, Sophia Momodu defended herself, pushing back against the perception that Nigerians consistently portray her as the antagonist. She confidently stated that she remains unfazed by such opinions.
She underscored that children are sincere in expressing their emotions, particularly when communicating with their grandparents.
She wrote; “Y’all want me to be the bad guy sooooo bad and it’s ok, quite frankly I like being the bad guy Chun-Le. But one thing is for sure, kids don’t lie about how they feel. Especially with their grandparents.
You people think this new generation of kids wouldn’t tell you about yourself when you’re moving mad. Better wake up.
Sophia Momodu added that she is writing a book about her relationship with her baby daddy, Davido while adding that her silence doesn’t mean nothing.
She wrote “So what will you people nau do when this book drops? 😄 y’all really thought my silence meant y’all did something huh? 😀😂 this is incredible.”
She added; “Y’all want me to be the bad guy sooooo bad 😄 and it’s ok, quite frankly I like being the bad guy Chun-Le. But one thing is for sure.. kids don’t lie bout how they feel. Especially with their grand parents.”
