Inter Milan ready to go ‘extra mile’ to sign Belgian striker, Lukaku from Chelsea

Inter Milan are ready to do anything in their capacity to sign Belgian striker, Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea this week.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that this will be the week where the Nerazzurri officially turn their attention to finally wrapping up a deal for the Belgian star.

Inter don’t want to wait any longer to bring Lukaku back for next season after several weeks of talks with Chelsea stalling.

Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi believes that the 30-year-old will be a vital piece of the puzzle to compete for the Serie A title.

Therefore, there’s little doubt in the mind of the Inter directors. They believe that the coming days must see decisive progress in their attempts to sign Lukaku.

Lukaku has already rejected a massive money offer from Al-Hilal, and will in fact accept a pay cut to stay at Inter. He would also have zero interest in a shock switch to the Nerazzurri’s city rivals AC Milan.
