Liverpool head to Southampton in the Premier League today looking to finish the season on a high.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have taken 22 points out of a possible 24 over their last eight matches to make a late charge at a top-four finish, but that race will be over if Manchester United beat or draw with Chelsea on Thursday night.
A summer rebuild is on the cards for Liverpool, with the form of recent weeks ensuring they will go into next season with some momentum and there is every chance that continues against Southampton.
The Saints are already relegated and will finish bottom of the Premier League, with their fans left to hope that top-flight football is away from St Mary’s for just a season.
