The famous Nigeria Nollywood actor Charles Okocha and his team has continued to call for a rematch after the celebrity boxing match where Portable ended up as the winner.
Recall on Boxing Day, December 26th, 2023, the highly anticipated fight between Charles Okocha and Portable was held and by extension, the “Zazoo Zeh” crooner was announced as the winner.
However, this did not sit down well with Charles Okocha who claimed that the fight was rigged adding that the boxing match was supposed to end in the 4th round instead of the final 3rd round.
He noted that Portable took off the glove in the 3rd round which was wrong also blamed the referee for lack of professionalism and that was just the beginning.
He wrote; “How can you give up on the 3rd round when we have 4 rounds, How do you take off your gloves on the 3rd round that’s total disqualification when the fight hasn’t ended. Y’all know this shiiiït was rigged plus an incompetent REFER that knows nothing about boxing rules…nevertheless we move✊rematch soon.”
Backing up his point for a rematch with Portable, Charles Okocha shares a video of where his punch landed Portable in an unconscious state during round 3.
Charles Okocha wrote; “So y’all think this lil nïgga won after giving up on round 3 that ought to be an automatic disqualification??? 😀😀REMATCH!!! 🥊🥊.”
As expected, the new video by Charles Okocha stirs mixed reactions, while some drum support for him as they call for a rematch, others berated Charles Okocha’s boxing skills, asserting that he was throwing punches like that of a chicken.
They further averred that Charles Okocha’s role model, Rapper Jay-Z will be disappointed in him over his boxing skills.
