Prominent Nigerian singer, Wizkid has set another new record for African music with his latest accomplishment in the US.
Wizkid never gets tired of breaking different and numerous records in the entertainment industry in Africa, and his latest achievement in the US is just one of many the talented singer has continued to set.
The singer’s song ‘Come Closer,’ which featured Canadian rapper Drake, became Wizkid‘s second song to receive a platinum certification and the singer’s third in his career after receiving his first platinum certification with Drake’s ‘One Dance‘ and his second with the monster hit record ‘Essence‘ which features Tems.
This is incredible because Wizkid is now the first and only African artist to receive three platinum certifications from the RIAA in the US.
