Big Brother Naija season 7 winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor popularly know as Phyna has expressed her viewpoint on the occurrences in the Nigerian music industry.
Discussing in an interview with “Surviving Lagos” podcast with Susan Pwajok, the reality tv star claimed that women in the music industry don’t collaborate with upcoming artistes or sign them to their record labels.
According to Phyna, the peak male bosses were always supporting and helping upcoming artistes but the same could not be uttered for their female partners.
During the interview, Phyna said;
“The way Nigeria top male artistes feature upcoming artiste, the top female artistes are not doing it. I’ve not seen a top female artiste pick up another upcoming female artiste up before”
