Famous Nollywood actor and , Yul Edochie has expressed strong support for his senior colleague, Emeka Ike, who had just made his triumphant return to Nollywood.
It is worth noting that Emeka Ike, took a break from the industry due to some marital challenges. Fortunately, he made return back to Nollywood after Toyin Abraham featured him in her blockbuster movie, ‘Malaika’.
Following his return, he shared details about the breakdown of his marriage in an interview, revealing the challenges he faced and how his marriage allegedly took a toll on his personal and professional life, leading to a decline in his fortunes.
Amidst the ensuing social media frenzy and criticism including that of his wife and son, Michelle, directed at Emeka Ike, Yul Edochie chose to extend support to his senior colleague.
In a post on his social media page, Yul Edochie hailed Emeka Ike as a legendary figure and expressed joy at seeing him back in action. The post continued with Yul Edochie advising Emeka Ike to ignore the noise and criticisms from detractors.
He urged him to keep his head high and not let anybody bring him down. He reassured Emeka Ike that his fans are behind him, expressing solidarity and encouragement for the veteran actor to reclaim everything he may have lost and pursue his dreams with renewed vigor.
He wrote, “Good to have you back in the game big bro. The Legendary Emeka Ike. @emekaikeofficial Odogwu! You’re one of the actors who inspired me to come up. I’m a big fan of your work.
